The P.O. kept his cool when Gates starting yelling and walked out of his house with Gates following, still yelling, to the outside of the house he had him dead to rights on a public disturbance charge. No doubt the LEO was crafty and Gates lost it in the moment. Not nice but legal.
Well we agree about police unions and their portrayal of all LEOs as infallible. Police union officials in South Florida have repeatedly attempted to change the narrative on questionable to poor LEO conduct.
But in any case back to the part of Obama being hated by Repubs. because he was black. Well, I do not know what goes on in the GOP inner circle.
BTW, I dislike Obama because of his attitude but think he as done OK. Could have done more but you know, no disasters like his predecessor. I disliked Bush as well once the BS of the WMDs came out. Hate being conned. Nothing to do with him being white.

How much more irony does someone need than to look at today's conservative?
For 7 years they have been enraged that a black man occupies the White House, constantly calling him "divisive" when he has done everything in his human power to be a uniter, and not a divider.
Now these same people who attack Pres. Obama as a "divider" are rallying behind Donald Trump, who is using hatred, bigotry, and dog whistle appeals to violence to rally his uneducated, angry, and lily white supporters to divide this country like I've never seen in my lifetime.
Do conservatives even understand the meaning of 'irony'?
Irony:
a. The use of words to express something different from and often opposite to their literal meaning.
b. An expression or utterance marked by a deliberate contrast between apparent and intended meaning.

You should stop watching so much CNN, it creates idiots. In reality Obama did the best he could under the circumstances and isn't the anti Christ, and Trump is not a racists devil. All of that media hype only leads to CNN's ratings, and has nothing to do with the truth of the matter.
Every president we've had has been compared to the anti Christ, regardless of color. Every presidential candidate has been tossed through the smear campaign, Trump more since he's flipping off the establishment. Try to get your information from non bias contributors and let go of the hate. In the end they are both just human beings doing what they think is right for the country. That's it. Neither one is the devil.
Obama and his wife were a bit divisive, and Trump is a bit rude and sarcastic, but hey, it's the nature of the job.
Obama doesn't hate white people or police officers just because he supports and had a meeting with the leaders of BLM to discuss their issues. That includes young activists from groups formed in the wake of incidents of police violence in places like Ferguson, Missouri, and Baltimore.. He doesn't support Muslims more than the Military even though he gave a prayer and peace talk regarding Muslims before he addressed the terrorist attack on our Military where a Muslim shot up their base.
Donald Trump doesn't hate hispanics and didn't encourage his voters to hurt Mexicans just because he doesn't support illegal immigration. He doesn't hate Muslims just because he wanted to be careful letting in refugees either. It's just silly to believe that. It doesn't mean he deserves the death threats from protesters either.
The news grabs on to lucrative moments and takes full advantage. We are a capitalist country, our news is just reality tv. Chill.
Many Trump supporters have correctly called out Obama for being a pathological liar over the years. They accurately point out how most of his supporters are either ignorant or complicit in all of these lies that they excuse away. This only encourages Obama to BS even more.
Now Trump supporters are acting like Obama supporters and excusing Trump's BS...encouraging Trump to BS more.
The right doesn't have a problem with Obama at the White-house, as long as he would be working as a butler or groundskeeper, but President, no way.
