It gets better (or worse):

"The blue waters beneath Air Force One once carried American battle ships to this island to liberate but also to exert control over Cuba. Those waters also carried generations of Cuban revolutionaries to the United States, where they built support for their cause."

When did he hire Sean Penn as his speechwriter? What those waters carried was generations of Cubans trying to escape a repressive regime. He forgot to mention that.

Oh riiiigggghtt; like going off the beaten path to some of the poorest counties listed in rural Kentucky, Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana, either of the Dakotas, for just a few examples, would not divulge the crappy lives some of those people are living?

You've obviously got to get out and about more in your own country before levelling scathing remarks about how their political structure has caused grief towards ANY other country.

No. I have been around. Difference between apathy forced on you and choice to live in that manner.

Obama is terrible on just about everything, but what would you like him to do?
I'd rather he golf, go to sporting events, tape a TV show, etc. than be at the White House making decisions on our lives.

Your opinion might be taken more seriously if you would actually refer to the one you are speaking of properly, otherwise you present yourself as immature and unable to make a clear valid point.
