The first sentence is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard, even from an anti-gun pacifist. While I agree people should get training, it should NOT be mandatory. The vast majority of defensive uses of firearms against criminals intent upon lethal force are by completely untrained people. And to suggest people who own and carry firearms don't have common sense is insulting and unnecessary. I happen to think people who go around unarmed are ignorant and stupid, but I don't go around saying so and insulting them. LOL You just did!!!
First, did you read that a mother left a gun around for her 2 year old to find and shoot himself? Maybe he was mad that his mother wouldn't give him another cookie so he meant to shoot her but he is too weak to pull the trigger without putting the barrel against his body. Well, at least his 2nd amendment rights weren't infringed upon, right? These liberals want to ban toddlers from using guns. Un-American if you ask me.

Nah, we would rather let conservatives makes the laws where they want to prevent a woman the right to make a choice if she wishes to have a child or not, but celebrate our guns when one of those little precious children kill themselves with a gun.

That's right! It is her 2nd amendment right to own the gun. I suppose you are against that. Too damn bad. She is careless and irresponsible and should be accountable for her carelessness. She will have to live with this.
