EXACTLY, he's talking about the Republican Obstructionism, NOT Obama!

I fully expect that if Hillary is elected, the Clintons fully intend to throw Obama completely under the bus. They will even back it up and drive over him a few times.

This was just a premature ejaculation from Bill Clinton.

Couldn't agree with him more .... the last 8 years have been awful.

But I don't see how electing one of BO's cabinet members will do much to solve that problem.

USA Today
*Update: An aide to Bill Clinton says the legacy he was referring to was Republicans' obstructionism'.
So what is the excuse for the crapiness of the first 2 of 8 years?

Republicans weren't able to obstruct anything.

Will Bill offer a retraction today? I bet he does.
He was referring to Republican obstructionism, but I don't think current posters will care.

I'm no fan of Hillary and would not enjoy voting for her. This, of course, does not mean in any way that the "answer" to Hillary Clinton is The Donald.

Well to be fair, Obama's economic policies resemble the Bush years far more than they do the Clinton '90s. Clinton gave us a strong middle class and a balanced budget. Bush and Obama have both been big deficit spenders and have had economic policies that favored the top 1%. Over the past 16 years, the rich have become richer and the poor have become poorer.

The repeal of Glass-Steigal, unregulated derivatives, near-zero fed funds rates, NAFTA and the 2000 China Trade Act caused the crash.

Bill Clinton caused the repeal of Glass-Steigal, unregulated derivatives, near-zero fed funds rates, NAFTA and the 2000 China Trade Act.

The first thing the Hildebeast will do is attempt to ram a carbon tax through the House and Senate to get CCX up and running.

After that, the carbon-bubble and subsequent crash will make the 2008 financial collapse a footnote in history.

Goldman-Sachs will make sure the Clintons, and their well-connected friends, walk away with trillions that will be sucked out of our retirement accounts, home equity and life savings.
Everything you just named was supported and negotiated by Republicans, not Democrats and the majority of Democrats voted against each and every one of them.

You are blaming Bill Clinton for NAFTA when in reality it is a relic of the George H. W. Bush administration.

What President Obamas Legacy Means To Me

"That feels pretty personal to me—not just as an American who supports President Obama, but also as someone who was proud to work alongside him at the White House. We’ve imposed the toughest regulations on Wall Street since the 1930s (Hah-after her Husband destroyed them). We created the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau just over a year ago—and it’s already returned nearly $11 billion to consumers. If you take a step back and look at all America has achieved over the past eight years, it’s remarkable to see how far we’ve come. But you’d never know it from listening to the Republicans.

As president, I will carry forward the Democratic record of achievement. I’ll defend President Obama’s accomplishments and build upon them. We’ve made tremendous progress over the past eight years. That shouldn’t be dismissed or taken lightly. Let’s keep that progress going. Let’s make sure no one turns the clock back. We’ve come too far. We’ve accomplished too much."
Those 2 bold statements are not congruent.

It is not an excuse to argue that Clinton is saying Barack Obama should have governed more to the left. Its an actual explanation of what his statement means.

Your statement simply argues that she is a hypocrite, and you would be right, i never disagreed, but that isnt an "excuse" as you claimed.
