It just proves that political correctness is a weapon to stymie opposition.

Europe is becoming a scary place, and it's going to get a lot scarier. 20 years from now, urban areas of France are going to be like living in Israel. Citizens will live their entire lives in fear. At some point French nationals are going to actually wake up to their retarded governments inability to fix the problem and things will get nasty when they start taking actions into their own hands.

yep-

Lefties are fascists and will predictably turn on thier own people, rather than external enemies. It is what totalitarians do.

Isn't it interesting that once people start feeling threatened personally they move right. No one shifts to the left when danger starts knocking on the door. Wonder why? Maybe because leftist policies are what breed these situations and deep down people know that government won't actually protect them.

It's not really shifting right though is the point. It's common sense. The left has successfully shifted the line to the point where if you speak common sense, it's hate speech.

That def makes sense to me.

Left wing: big society being the nanny

Right wing: circle the wagons and relying on family and friends.

Thank God MOST of us can and will decide on a case by case basis which path to follow depending on the situation.

No, it's not.

I recall at the ill-fated Trump Chicago rally a young white college age woman holding a sign saying the "silent majority should stay silent."

I'm guessing you've never been to Israel or seen the aftermath of an attack in Israel. Within hours of an attack, the area is cleaned up and returns to the state it was before the attack occurred. You'd have to look pretty hard to even find a blood stain on the ground. Israelis are aware of the potential for attacks, but do not live in fear of it in their day to day lives.

As to Europe fixing their own problem, they are the ones who broke it in the first place. We've had too many generations pass since WW2 that have become naive to the world around them. I've been in cafes (I'm fluent in numerous languages) and overheard conversations about attacks around the world and no matter what country I've been in Europe I've heard the same line repeatedly: "Don't worry about it, the Americans will take care it".

Israel has had numerous decades of attacks, but with all the anti-Israel rhetoric since it's inception, not one American soldier has walked on Israeli soil to take care of the problem. If Israel can take care of itself, then individual European countries should be able to do the same thing.
