Pick your pleasure:

a) Hill and Bern discussing policy

b) Trump vs Cruz food fight over spouses

And then the RNC convention in Cleveland is shaping up to be yuge, terrific, amazing entertainment. Especially if they take the nomination away from their clear frontrunner.

Looking forward to it. You?

Personally I think a food fight is preferable to Hillary and Bern arguing over how much they are going to steal from one person and give to another.

Most all of the NRA events ban guns. The NRA isn't responsible for it, but the venue is. I'm assuming it's the case here.

The moment someone has to demonize your position to refute it is the moment they lost the point.

The same types actively look to SWAT concealed or open carriers or incite panic where none exists.

The NRA has consistently said that more guns make everything safer, and that has been the line taken by every one of the republicans after every mass shooting that has occurred. It only stands to reason that more guns at the convention would make it safer as well.

I utterly agree with this statement.

I do not care how it 'looks' for the RNC to ban guns inside the arena. It is simple common sense.

My questions are:

Has this ever been debated in past elections? Did I somehow miss the great debate of bringing guns to a convention in the past?

If it has not been debated in the past, have you ever thought to ask yourself 'why this time'?

what has been discussed is the safety of the president or candidates for presidents- shyte they closed I-95 for one hour -both ways in Miami when Bush was running again- 2004- right by the Ft Laud airport- stopped all kinds of traffic- including me on my way to work - so they are SUBJECT to how well -the SS and other Fed agencies feel they can protect them- I will again say- petition or not- there is NO way the security detail will allow it-
TAMPA was armed to the teeth by several thousand LEOS to cover that last NRC and cameras all up under everyone's butt-- no way its gonna happen.
