I don't have any kids, nor at 44 do I regret my decision not to have any.

I don't fault people that do have them. However, I can't say I would be able to travel twice a year, live in the house or neighborhood my wife and I do, have a new Jeep sitting in the driveway, travel twice a year nor would I have been able to afford the ATV I bought last year if I did. Hell, day care alone in the GTA costs as much as a second mortgage payment.

I enjoy my life and I am sure those with children enjoy theirs. We just enjoy them for different reasons.

That's illogical. Unless you have access to a time machine, you have no way of knowing if your kids will even speak to you in your old age.

In history and current are any visibility for the future, most kids let their parents die at the senior homes if they make it there. :-)
