Actually 63 dead, 300 injured.

A splinter group of the Pakistani Taliban, Jamat-ul-Ahrar, claimed responsibility for the bombing, a member of the group told CNN.

The attack targeted people in a park celebrating Easter, spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan said.

He said that such attacks will continue.

May God fully repay these people in eternity for the evil committed.

This isn't the first time the Taliban has performed a vicious crime, there was the school and university they attacked back in 2014 killing hundreds of school children. I thought Pakistan would take some action then but here they are again blowing up innocent women and children in a park.

Christ is mentioned and respected in the Koran. Recently I suggested to a Muslim that perhaps any mention of Christ in the Koran should be torn out and tossed away? If Mohamed respected Jesus...you would think that his followers would do the same...apparently not. So I guess that some Muslims are infidels and just do not know it YET.

It was an Easter celebration, so this attack primarily killed children and women. Where is the outrage about this attack on the holiest of Christian holidays? Brussels attack saturated the news and social media for days, while this even more brutal attack is hard to find anyone talking about.

A senseless and horrible tragedy. I feel much sympathy for these people who lost their children or family members in this cowardly attack.

Interesting that many media outlets have sought to portray this as an attack on Christians as opposed to an attack on mostly women and children, regardless of faith.

So you believe the motivation of the attack was to randomly kill women and children and Islam had no skin in this game despite the facts? Either way, Muslims continue to blow people and shiite up...it's how they throw a good party.

If we get enough Muslims over here, we can have similar Easter celebrations where they target women and children or Christians, take your pick.

Muhammed respected major prophets, including but not limited to Moses and Jesus.
Muhammed believed the word of God had been corrupted by man, over time.

Muhammed used religion as a tool to conquer and eventually unite Arabs, no small feat, then or now.
Upon his death, Islam split into two factions over a dispute over succession.

As Islam spread, local tribal customs were incorporated and formed different schools and sects.

It's a pattern common in all major religions.

Those who choose literal translations of scripture are often at odds with reform movements.

BBC is reporting several possible motives, including a deadline set by an alliance of more than 30 religious groups to withdraw a new women's right law as well as to send a clear message to the Prime Minister.
