Well, then maybe you can see why it's absurd to use generalizations of a demographic many women don't fall into to try and justify gender wage inequality?

it is just one aspect that needs to be considered. it is true that not all women are mothers, but many are, and that skews the numbers to the negative.

If there are all these women being underpaid then all the liberals who own businesses should hire women only and split the difference in pay. Pay them 89% of what men are paid and you are each 11% better off. Undercut all your competitors prices with your 11% labor advantage and you can drive all the sexists out of business. No government action required.

Then you can hire the unemployed men at 78% of what the women make.

The free market is great! Use it.

The fact is women are physically weaker than men and that alone makes them lesS qualified for about 25% of current jobs.

If you think a woman is underpaid....hire her. It is that simple.

List of countries by average wage
1 Czech Republic $4,089
2 Norway $3,678
3 Austria $3,437
4 United States $3,263
5 United Kingdom $3,065
6 Belgium $3,035
7 Sweden $3,023
8 Ireland $2,997
9 Finland $2,925
10 South Korea $2,903
11 France $2,886
12 Canada $2,724
13 Germany $2,720
14 Singapore $2,616
15 Australia $2,610
16 Cyprus $2,605
17 Japan $2,522
18 Italy $2,445

Notice Canada's wages are about 83% of the USA. It is better to make 78$ of a lot than 100% of a little. Even at 78% American women are better off than the average worker in all but about 20 Countries. Plus they have the advantage of not having to work without being societal outcasts. God Bless America.

This isn't just about wage equality for women. It's pretty eye opening how many countries have the US beat when it comes to women's equality overall.

"Among the dozens of countries where women are better off, according to this measure, are the United Arab Emirates and Norway, the Kyrgyz Republic and Canada, Egypt, Iceland, Japan, Botswana, Honduras and Ethiopia.

The top five, in descending order: Burundi, Mongolia, Qatar, Thailand and Malaysia.

In 2013, women who worked full-time, year-round in the United States were paid 78% of what men were paid -- or 78 cents for every dollar earned on average by men, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. That gap, though, is worse for women of color: Black women make 64 cents and Latinas make 56 cents for every dollar earned by a white man."
Propaganda and creative statistics are the easel and paintbrush of the liberals and their media.

Not all, but most do become mothers during the time when they would be in the labor force throwing off the equalization as we measure total earnings. Since socially women are more likely to take months for physical recuperation up to years off, until formal schooling starts in many cases versus the weeks that the father might get off after the birth of a child.

that is illegal/ biased and antiquated. some feel very threated in here. Most women I met took 6 weeks and most fathers are taking the same time- and more "thinking" companies are giving even much longer now--

maybe you should have read the article I posted:

"The women's team does the identical work as the men's team, except they have outperformed in every way," said Jeffrey Kessler, a lawyer who represents the women. "The U.S. Soccer Federation made a profit of $16 million on the women's team last year. It had a loss on men's team."

"The women's team won the World Cup last year and is among the favorites for the Olympics this summer. Its World Cup championship match scored the best U.S. rating ever of any soccer game -- men's or women's. It also drew more viewers than some other top-flight men's sporting events such as the World Series and NBA finals."

"The complaint lays out some compelling numbers. Men earn as much as $17,625 for an exhibition match against a top opponent, according to the court document, and get no less than $5,000 even if the team loses.
But women are paid a maximum of $4,950 even if they win every game. And they're only paid for the first 20 exhibition games they play each year -- they aren't paid anything for any games beyond that. Men get paid for each game, no matter how many exhibition games they play."
And the men's team earned $9 million in the 2014 World Cup for losing in the round of 16, while the women made $2 million when they won the 2015 championship.
