We owe nothing to refugees from anywhere in the world. Fix your own country first; we have our own issues, and other Americans, to worry about. However, these minority South Africans face far more violence and discrimination than Muslim "refugees" from Muslim dominated countries. More importantly, they are far less likely to embrace violence than Islamists and are far more likely to have a similar culture to our own, and thereby assimilate and contribute much more quickly. IF we are to accept "refugees" of any sort, they should be at the front of the line.
Interesting you mentioned this. Comedian George Carlin once quipped that a racist white South African could emigrate to the US and call himself an African American just to **** with black Americans here.
I don't doubt it.
But regardless, if you ain't black, then you ain't African American. This is a blacks only club. And we aren't looking for new members.

Why? They refused to accept their own countrymen that predated their arrival in South Africa as fellow citizens deserving of equal rights.
