The OP is correct. On a global scale, Muslim fundamentalists murder and maim far more people than global citizens that are non-Muslim gun owners. We are expected to accept the narrative that the Muslim Fort Hood shooter is a crazed lunatic acting alone, but deranged shooters of non-Muslim background are a systemic problem that require an entire CONSTITUTIONAL AND LEGAL re-write! Absurd!
On number 2: how many people realize that non-workers who have claimed SSI permanent disability receive their checks on the first of the month (earlier if the first falls on the weekend) and elderly workers who worked until full retirement age receive theirs on the third or much later (the Wednesday closest to their birth date)!
1. Few judge all gun owners. In fact, I rarely hear liberals say that the problem is with gun owners. The problem is generally directed at lose laws regarding the regulation of firearms. If you want to say all gun owners are effected by the laws, that's fine, but is a separate thing from saying blame is being placed on them.
2. First of all, social security won't actually run out. No one is going to let that happen. They'll move money into it somehow. Maybe up the age that is required to get it. By the way, most people on welfare do work. It's quite hard to get welfare without working, unless you have a disability. Your understanding of welfare I'm guessing stems from a source that has an agenda? Tell me, have you ever met someone on welfare and taken the time to have a genuine conversation? Not surface level crap, like hows the weather, but a talk between to humans who care about the other?
Of course the opening poster has never taken the time to have a real conversation with a welfare recipient, he/she prefers to make sweeping generalizations which only makes the poster look foolish.
Regarding the gun owners/Muslim comparison again it's so stupid it's hardly worth commenting on. I'll just say if the poster really believes the gun issue is all about the random cooks shooting up schools that poster is completely uninformed about the issue and again looks foolish.

The Conundrum
These two, short sentences tell you a lot about our government and our culture:
We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works.
And here's another one worth considering. 2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. How come we never hear about welfare running out of money? What's interesting is the first group "worked for" their money, but the second didn't.
Didn't you just judge ALL liberals? Can one literally drip with irony?

1. Do you have any statistics to back up your claim that Muslims fundamentalists commit the most acts of terrorism or assault? I can't speak for the world but here in the US, in regards to terrorism, about 6% of terror attacks in the US (based on FBI data from 1980-2005) were committed by Muslims. Of the groups, this was the second smallest, the smallest being communists at 5% (Latin American Nationalists were the highest at 42%). In regards to Fort Hood, I don't think anyone who supports gun legislation would not apply that same legislation to the events that occurred there.
2. That's a totally different issue than what's being talked about so I'm not going to address it.
