Many Americans aren't lining up for those jobs because they don't get hired. It's hard to compete against someone who will take the $3 an hour and long hours when the laws for LEGAL immigrants and citizens state that the companies cannot do that to us. It's not rocket science to figure out why "more Americans aren't doing those jobs". If you got rid of the illegals, more Americans WOULD be doing those jobs.

The farm labor movement extends as far back as the early 1960s, when civil rights activist Cesar Chavez mobilized thousands of Latino farm workers in California to fight for better working conditions.
Mr Chavez was def ANTI illegal immigration, even against Hispanic people here illegally.
Farmers: cough up more money there; then maybe you WILL get Americans and legal aliens to do the work.
It speaks volumes that immigrants are the ones who do those jobs. Nothing is stopping anybody else from doing those jobs.
When I was a kid we picked tobacco in the CT tobacco fields. As an adult, I did housecleaning on the side for $$, cleaned offices at night for a 2nd job and didn't think anything of it. The office cleaning crew were all middle-aged people looking to beef up their income.
The huge influx of immigrants have taken those jobs. Many of them require you to speak Spanish in order to communicate with your coworkers. And too many times the openings are filled by word of mouth to other immigrants before they are even advertised. It's a different world.
BTW, Ivana is an airhead.
