The really sad part is that NC's law basically says "If you are a biological male you are restricted from the 'ladies' room' and vice versa".

Oh the insanity!!

"North Carolina after the state passed a controversial law targeting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) citizens.

Last month, North Carolina became the first state to enact a measure requiring people to use bathrooms or locker rooms in schools and other public facilities that match the gender on their birth certificate rather than their gender identity."

Yesssss! punish NC!!!!!

Are you effnn kidding? PP thinks that law reaches the threshold to change a business decision??

The social justice crowd has lost the protection of their skin and walks around with exposed nerves.

The 'first in flight' state will now be punished by PP execs not using airplanes for travel.

Love the 'trageting LGBT..." phrase,as if someone is causing serious harm to that group.

Shortsighted is the willing sacrifice for social justice symbolism that would result in a wave of abuse and criminal behavior if the LGBT activists had their way.

Bet the folks that are LGBT could care less about the law, just the profiteering activists are getting PTSD.

My thoughts exactly. I have no need to use their services, and will let them know.

The stance that they claim to be sooooooooooooooooooooooooo moral that they don't want to pay for health insurance for their workers that would provide contraception yet have NO problem buying cheap crap from a country that among other things supplies abortions on demand and marking that cheap crap up to ridiculous levels.

THAT stance!

IF that was as far as it went there'd likely be much less of an uproar. As it is it goes much further in allowing other forms of discrimination.

Yeah, that's pretty similar. [/sarcasm]

Oh yeah, they also said something like "No local laws may supersede this state law".

That IS going pretty far in allowing discrimination.

Do they have armed guards staged outside rest rooms checking for violators, how do they even come close to enforcement.

I mean if PayPal wants to not be in NC due to the law, more power to them. Why are you all getting so butt hurt about it?

If a business wants to stop doing business in a state or city, it has all the power too as do you have the ability to stop buying stuff from them. Not sure why some of you are getting so sensitive about it.

I guess now you know how it would feel if a law, like the one in Mississippi, allows for businesses to discriminate against LGBT people......pot meet kettle.
