Sure, that works too, not everyone in their teens and 20s makes the best choices. I am sure even you made mistakes at that age. How old were you when you had kids?

That is the definition of safety nets, I guess if you are cool with third world poverty and ghettos trapping those at the bottom, there is always that.

My first child was born when I was 30. Sure, I made mistakes in my teens and twenties, but they were my mistakes and I was responsible for the consequences of them.

So are others who make mistakes during those times, but in this country we have safety nets to prevent people from dropping into deep poverty. Clearly some people don't care about that and would rather have third world poverty in the US.
