Since when has ANY sitting Governor "struggled"?

Free housing, free food, no need for a car, no gas, no insurance bills, no utilities to pay, etc. etc., etc.

Funny how rich and wanna be rich elite like to appear nice and kind and generate equality...by pushing socialism on everyone...BUT themselves. Everyone is equal- except them of course. What would you prefer? To be driven about in a nice private car or ride a crowded subway? Human nature dictates that we all like privacy and comfort. So why pretend that you are common when your whole life is about blind ambition and NOT being common?

You honestly think they just had a nice income in 1992 and not before?

Yes, Hillary who had been on the board of directors of TCBY since 1985 and on the board of directors of Walmart since 1986, and on the board of directors of Lafarge since 1990 while being a YALE Degree LAWYER who was made a Full Partner of the most PRESTIGIOUS Law Firm in Arkansas was barely just getting by...I mean Walmart only gave her just over $100,000 worth of stock in the 1980s...

Spoon feed me more propaganda I no longer think.....I am willing to buy this BS.

Tell me how Hillary was correct that she was "dead broke" when leaving the White House in 2000, just like us...I will ignore that they had a combined income of over half a million dollars adjusting for inflation the year after they left the White House...a net worth of several million dollars, and a few mansions.
Yes, I've met couples who had advanced degrees from Ivy League schools that struggled. And in Arkansas, probably 75% or more of the people are in the bottom half of the country financially. Drugs don't have anything to do with it. Ivy League or not, if you move to a part of the country where pay scales are very low, chances are you're going to earn a low pay.

And when Hillary married Bill, they were earning very low pay. They were struggling to get by. Winning the governorship didn't magically resolve their financial problems, since the governorship in Arkansas was one of the worst-paying governorships in the country. It may have been the worst-paying.

Yes, Hillary did well to eventually get a job at the Rose Law Firm, and AFTER Bill had been the governor for a few years, she did get offers to serve on several boards of directors, which gave them a financial boost.

But if you read the tax return from 1992, a significant portion of their income actually came the one-time sale of a building. As for before 1992, in 1972 I think their earnings were very little, but they steadily grew over the years, largely from Hillary's efforts, because the state wasn't raising the governor's salary those years, and Bill's gubernatorial obligations prohibited him from pursuing other ways to make money.

And while they were in the White House, they were also limited in ways to make money, so that when they left the White House, their debt was greater than their assets, which is why Hillary said they were broke. But they were also free to leverage their fame and experiences into multiple money-making ventures, and they did very, very well with their books and speaking fees.

They have money, now. But the point is that they did struggle financially, just like a lot of Americans, when they first started out.

Dilapidated mansion, food not always free, Hillary had a need for a car, her gas wasn't paid for by the state, she had to pay for insurance, clothes, dry-cleaning, travel expenses, etc. They may not have even used the state's insurance, since Rose Law Firm's insurance may have been significantly better.

I watched the video and do not see what you guys are all excited about. If you have ever taken the subway then you'd know that you sometimes have to swipe the card more than once.

I started to read the article but stopped after the first sentence, "3 out of 4 of the leading candidates in this race are from New York. Which is a bad thing because New York is a failed city full of obnoxious people from other parts of the country that gets by on tourism." Lost credibility. Then the tag line that there is a fascist screaming to get out of all liberals. LOL Freakin hilarious!!!

I can't stand Hillary but this is really a non-issue to me.
Who cares?

Exactly.

I give her credit for the attempt.
Millions of tourists that visit the city every year never even bother.

Hillary didn't carry off a slice of pizza or scurry around the subway car, did she?

Hil has not been one of the people since she went to Wellesley College for her undergrad and then Yale Law. Who you kidding?
