The function of school is to educate. It's basically common knowledge that exposing children to things early makes them more capable of thinking about it later on. You cannot deny the prevalence of the discussion on same sex relationships and transgender issues in our society. These issues exists and they are relevant.
Bare in mind, these subjects are being presented objectively. It's merely highlighting that these issues exist. It's a private school and if you don't like how they teach, why would you want to stay? Maybe they kicked the girl out too hastily, I don't know. I feel like a lot of details are missing from the article.
I'm skeptical that the organization that trained these teachers about gender-confused worms - whose name can't even be spelled out properly in this forum - can actually be objective here.

A ***** Endeavor, an initiative started in the School of Education at the University of Colorado at Boulder, has helped train 2,500 teachers over the past three years, including those in Boulder and in the St. Vrain Valley School District.

Your skepticism is welcomed. But do you have any evidence to suggest that they aren't?
beyond their hideous name, no. would you agree that they most certainly are an agenda-driven group?
I mean, no group does something without having a goal. By definition, everything is agenda driven. The agenda of a school is to educate.
The group we're talking about wants to address the issues revolving our LGBT people. So, yea, they have an agenda but having an agenda does not make someone dishonest or any less objective.
so this way, when little Erica or Johnny are adults and meet a LGBT for the first time, they can display that Christian look of horror and closed mind that they're known for.
Twice in the same day. Wow.
I guess as long as you're only being bigoted towards Christians, bigotry is OK?

a group with the motto 'q_ueering the classrom' has no reasonable claim to objectivity.
In a nutshell, this page serves as a resource bank for educators (and all interested folks) seeking to disrupt heteronormativity, heterosexism, homophobia, transphobia, and gendered harassment in educational spaces and beyond.
Did that come before or after the classes to teach the kids about bondage, sadomasochism, racism, female genital mutilation, blood diamonds, world hunger and man-made global warming?
They are four to five years old after all, it's never too early to teach kids about the world they live in.

So it's either tell them about these things at age 4 or at age 21? How about somewhere in between those ages? I would suggest after kids learn the difference between boys and girls to start with.

Do many kids have that problem? Mine knew what sex they were before pre-k and even knew the proper name for their body parts. It didn't require class time to teach them that.
