Bruce Springsteen Cancels North Carolina Concert Over Anti-Bias Law | NBC New York

"Some things are more important than a rock show and this fight against prejudice and bigotry — which is happening as I write — is one of them," Springsteen said in the statement, adding, "It is the strongest means I have for raising my voice in opposition to those who continue to push us backwards instead of forwards."

Not sure I agree with punishing the fans, but it sends a message to the idiots who signed this law.

Good for him. I hope the state loses a lot of business over this hateful law.

The end of the article says that Charles Barkley is pushing the NBA to move the All-Star game from Charlotte. Let the backlash continue.

I understand his reasoning & admire it but I do feel badly for the fans. If my favorite bands, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters or NIN did that, I would be extremely disappointed.

Does that make former pimp Snoop Dogg who's performing in Wilmington tonight a useless conservative?

Why? Because he's willing to make a sacrifice for something he believes in? Or because he's not afraid of homophobic bigots hiding behind their alleged Christianity?

Moron | Definition of Moron by Merriam-Webster

Simple Definition of moron
: a very stupid or foolish person

how is standing up for human rights ever foolish?

people used to say segregation was moral. now many of them are now doing the same to the LGBT community? change is hard, especially for closed minded people who are SCARED. You should think about that.
