For larger corps it's sad they won't give up a tiny part of the profits so others can fare better. It will balance out.

Those people are free to leave if they aren't happy with the pay. If he cannot fill the position, the owner will be forced to raise the pay. He is only to pay low because people are willing to accept it.

Seattle area created 58.6k jobs year over year or 3.2% growth, way above the U.S. average. Seattle is doing fine.

By comparison, Houston only created 9k jobs year over year or .3%.

When I delivered pizzas I had a manager who was obsessed with cutting costs so that he could make more money - he was paid a base salary plus percentage of store profits - so he could buy a franchise and own his own store.

Since I has the best driver he had, he sent his other drivers home by 9pm on weeknights and kept me until end of shift as his only driver. With only one driver instead of two, this increased average delivery times. The area supervisor came in one day and fired the manager. And the store was back to keeping at least two drivers on each shift.

Ummmmm not all jobs are pizza shops.
