You're at the gym, spa, wherever there's a shared locker room situation.

You're standing at your locker, nude, topless or in the process of getting dressed. The person next to you starts up a conversation but you notice their voice sounds odd.

You look over at them, the person looks female, has longer hair, has applied make-up, etc. But then you notice, they're nude and have a penis.

Are you OK with this?

Better than a lesbian! A lady keeps her gaze high.

Whoa... this is where political posturing meets real life. Hopefully the ladies will respond.

No, not ok w/ this.

Not anything I can do about lesbians being around, besides they're women and we do share the physiological reality of having a woman's body, it's easier for me to handle that actually

And women shouldn't be gawking at each other's bodies in the locker room, it's bad manners

Women generally use the toilet and disrobe/dress in private. The fantastical image of women frolicking half-nude in a locker room is right out of an 80's "Porky's" movie. Additionally, transgender folk tend to remain VERY private themselves with their bodies. It's highly doubtful that one would ever see a pre-op transsexual whipping off their clothing in a room of strangers.

I would not use a gym that did not provide a private dressing area and do not like public nudity very much.

Only once did I see a woman walking around the locker room naked and I can live without that vision in my head. If it was a dude it would bother me less because I'd rather see a naked man than a naked woman.

Are lesbians allowed in the men's bathroom? I have never seen any... Does that mean anyone who identifies as a lesbian and goes into a women's bathroom is guilty of indecency laws?

It should be pointed out that a man does not have to be dressed as a woman to use women's bathrooms or facilities. He can be dressed completely as a man. All he has to say if confronted is "I identify as a woman" and he is free to be there.

And he doesn't have to expose his penis or take off any clothes.

Manners are about making others feel comfortable, this contributes to civility in the world.

Doesn't someone w/ their respective body parts care how others who do not have their parts might feel when subjected to those physical traits in more private spaces, like a bathroom, locker room?
