That was my initial thought. I have no proof of this so I let it go but I don't think anyone will be surprised if you are right.

How can this be true, the government tells us, "illegals don't work here."

Bet they will be the first to be placed some where else.

There is one shirt maker left in the US.

Off the rack sport shirts start at $135.

One could probably buy 10-12 sport shirts made elsewhere at Kohls with their 30% off promos and other gimmicks.

You can find Trump dress shirts made elsewhere, online for $15.

The costs, as Always are passed on to the consumer!

George Bush found this out when some industries almost went belly up after Tariffs were imposed!

It ain't brain surgery folks!
Tariffs built this country, kept its population employed.

True but do you want a bunch of people making a decent wage producing expensive Red Wing boots they can afford or one of them working for minimum wage at Wally World stocking the shelves with Chinese made boots who isn't able to afford the cost of Red Wing boots.

Cheap foreign made goods are a race to the bottom and in some cases you're not saving anything over the long haul anyway.

I have some friends that own a decal/embroidery/silk screen business, back in the 90's they were able to obtain hats and shirts made in the USA at a reasonable price and that was all they used. Last I heard it was getting too expensive and difficult to find.
