The way I see it, there are some people who SHOULDN'T be honored. There have been people who were initially good for a nation, but then did very ugly things. Andrew Jackson is an example of that. He did some horrible things, genocidal things.
Personally, I agree with you. & let's face it, if we were to remove all of the white supremacists from our currency? Who would be left?
Although white supremacists in the present day are another story entirely. Personally, I do not feel obligated to defend a person's right to be wrong or irrational, et cetera - it makes very little sense. Let them say what they want - free speech & all, however defending the rationale upon which the person's position is based? That's a 'horse of a different color' & not interested in 'beating a dead horse' either.
Prove that it is "PC nonsense". Show me solid, concrete evidence. If there is no evidence, then just say it is your opinion and explain what you base your opinion on.

Furthermore nobody provided any rebuttal. Nobody can explain why hundreds more Americans more qualified than her were not selected.
It's about time to mix it up. How about some scientists or people who have discovered cures? It doesn't always have to be a forever thing. They could change it up every 5 years or so...
Tragic. We're replacing one of the most iconic and important American military generals/presidents/statesmen to ever live. In the period just after the revolutionary era and before the Civil War it is no exaggeration to say he was the most important man in American to live during the that time and one of the toughest men to ever hold the office of POTUS. He is an American inspiration and he shouldn't be sacrificed on the altar of political correctness just because modern liberal dogma requires us to erase our past and pretend like 21st century liberal values have been the values of the West for 2000 years.
Besides, reading about Jackson's exploits as a 13 year old fighting in the Revolution, as a POW at 14, and a raising the Tennessee militia to fight in the Battle of New Orleans at college age makes the special snowflakes now who require "safe spaces" all the more pathetic and completely intolerable. This is a national tragedy to be sure.
It's debatable that Harriet Tubman deserves to be on a denomination (I don't think she does, if we "need" to have a woman I think someone like Susan B. Anthony is more deserving), but if 21st century P.C. dogma requires us to force diversity then we should have given her a different denomination. Give her the $2 or make hers an alternate with Jackson's or something.
