America’s carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions have fallen 12 percent since 2005, due to increased natural gas production from hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, according to a report published Monday by the Energy Information Administration (EIA).

It might not be, they are only comparing the plant emissions. There is lot of CO2 and methane released during the extraction process.

And? Old news, and simple engineering/business. Only especially uninformed people don't know this already. Though I admit, providing an education is a good thing.

NG is about the cleanest fossil fuel you can get. The products of complete combustion are H2O and CO2. Guess what else produces those two things? Not as "clean" as nuclear or perhaps hydro, but the next best thing.
