No, I wasn't. It seems you've been on the hatred of government bandwagon so long you've forgotten it's government that protects you from gangs who forcibly steal from you. But I suppose you regard government as a gang so I still suspect you won't get it.
The point is, without the strength of government, you're a vulnerable sitting duck to any gang that wants to knock you down and take ALL of your stuff.
You should be thankful the government takes a portion of your wealth to make it possible for the organized defense of your personal vulnerabilities.

I don't recall saying I have a problem with paying MY FAIR SHARE to Uncle Sam...in fact, contrary to your wild assumption I'm all for money being spent on defense.
