It's very Republican - If you can't defend yourself, you deserve what you get.
This isnt a Democratic or Republican issue.

the state has a legal definition of rape, that is very small in scope. that is it.

One of the backward red states shows the world, yet again, exactly how backward it is, and the OP wants to somehow blame liberals. When does the right ever take responsibility for anything?

You're right. It is not a Democratic or Republican issue - It is a Democratic or Republican philosophy.

Call it a mindset if it's easier for you.

The State also has a very general definition of rape.

Take you, for instance. You're begging for it.

effectively, the state indeed does not define rape by the intoxication level or conscious level. so CNN made a click bait title, but it is factually true. it legally cant be defined as rape.

As for intoxication, I actually agree that it shouldnt be part of the criteria. Not because I think you cant be too drunk to know whats going on to you , but because arguing that someone cant consent to sex simply because they are legally drunk is a dumb argument legally. Many people get drunk simply so they can have the courage to have sex. And sexual assault laws tend to not take into account that and guys seems to get he short end of the stick.
How is that even remotely factually true?

The court said "the law doesn't define it as rape" but that doesn't mean "it's not rape."

The factually true statement would be "As per the current law, legally it's not rape."

If you want to do skull, go to a cemetery.

Course, I should warn you, there are very strict and narrow laws about sex with the dead.

You can not simply apply a law as you so wish just because you dont like the way something is currently defined, we have mechanisms for changing laws and hopefully that is what this state will do.

And what exactly am I begging for and how am I begging for it ?

You contradicted yourself.

Rape is a legal term with a defined meaning, if something is not rape by law, then it isnt rape.

i find it interesting that everyone seemed to have missed the bolded part. which ever judge said that is lying as they change laws all the time.
