It looks like college professors in Tennessee will soon be able to bring concealed weapons on campus. Unfortunately, students won't be able to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights at school just yet, but this is a step in the right direction. I hope the state soon allows other educators, say Kindergarten teachers, to bring concealed weapons to work too.
If you have a permit, or as in States like Vermont don't need a permit, it should be allowed.
Don't know what the job has to do with carrying. Whether being a hairdresser or a steelworker, one should be able to defend one's self.

I keep a shotgun hanging on the back window of my truck.
I'm getting so sick of being pulled over 7 or 8 times a day.
Sometimes I get swarmed by cops and it's a whole big ordeal like an episode of Cops, but that's usually only when some over sensitive moron panics and calls the cops and vaguely reports someone in a truck with a gun. Most of the time I just see the lights flash, pull over and get questioned and go about my business.
I guess people in the suburbs just can't adjust to seeing something like that. I mean really in this day and age people are still scared and prejudiced against rednecks. It's not right.

Hmm. Cool story.
I carry everyday - sometimes into places in which I'm not "supposed" to carry. The adage "I rather be judged by 12, than carried by 6" comes to mind.
What are some of these places that are too frightening for you to walk into unarmed? Churches? Court houses? Schools? Day cares? Do tell.
Too frightening? No place is too frightening (I'm curious why you would think a place is to frightening to carry or not to carry?). My sidearm is just another part of my daily routine. Wallet - check, mobile phone - check, keys - check, sidearm - check. That has zero to do with fear and everything to do with being prepared for the worse case scenario.

In other words, fear.
