It has been awhile since the first of Snowden's leaks. I admit I have not kept up with everything, but it seems like the leaks really didn't do much. Am I missing something? What has it really changed?

I remember at the time, it was a big deal and people acted like it was a game changer.

It was a game-changer, as far as making Americans aware of what's been
happening, but what are you looking for ?
The American government is still seeking his extradition, but Putin says
he's a free man, and that free man (Snowden) knows he must find a
home outside of the arm of the US government.

What this means is any game-changing classified information or methodology
he has is not going to be published on the internet or talked about on tv,
without broad generalization.

Many of the things Snowden said were NOT true but, many sucked it up.

It is called being "Gubered"!

Explains why he would be facing criminal charges if he were to return to the US.

True. If they're not true, he should be back next week!

He mainly exposed the Obama Administration as being Not transparent and possibly worse than the Bush Administration.

We'll never know how many covert lives he put at risk. And with espionage between all the countries, both friendly and not so much so, there could never be a transparent government. Obama, and anyone else saying it, was just blowing smoke up our collective skirts.

Provisions of the Orwellian Patriot Act would have never been allowed to sunset without Edward Snowden. For that alone Mr. Snowden is a hero who should be allowed to return home and receive an unconditional pardon.

Sure it made a difference. There are many reasons that Trump and Sanders rose to prominence this election season and this was one of them.

Default Did Snowden's leaks do anything?

It gave the 24hr news cycle some fodder for their incessant blabber.

He needs to be stood against a wall and shot for treason.

Putin will throw him out of Russia when his political usefulness is gone. Most likely after Obama leaves office.
