This is America, we voice our opinions with our votes, our protests, and our boycotts and there's nothing wrong with that. What you are seeing here is a backlash towards a company who is openly supporting organizations with agendas that are simply outdated. The world is changing and the conservatives remain two steps behind. The acceptance of gay lifestyles, including marriage, is now the norm. Every poll indicates that, Gallops most recent shows only 37% oppose while 60% support. 10 years ago the numbers were pretty much reversed.
When groups go out of their way to practice an active anti-gay agenda, regardless of whether it is faith based or just old outdated values, and when companies openly support these organizations and their agendas there will be a reaction towards a company that supports an agenda that most people today do not. It's just that simple.
Really? I must have missed that in their mission statement.
