And this further proves my point of the “look but stay away” phenomenon.
It's not really a point that needs to be made, it's common sense. People don't willingly get themselves into situations where they're going to be discriminated against and treated poorly.

You're confused here. Nobody is pointing a finger at me and calling me incompetent.
I am pointing a finger at WMATA and calling them incompetent.
Nor did I "insulate myself" from WMATA. I investigated their organization -- like I've done with hundreds, if not thousands of other organizations -- and decided it wasn't good for my career to get involved with them.
Well, in a country that is ~65% white and ~13% black, a predominantly-white organization is normal -- while a predominantly-black organization is a sign that something is wrong.
To be fair the Washington DC population is 50% black so you would expect they would have large percentage of black workers. That said.... 98%?
Seriously...we're blaming this on the drivers? Has anyone been on the metro? They've been in need of new cars for decades now.
They do have new cars, it's just that it's not a complete fleet. To get that, they (WMATA) NEEDS more money of course. They need the $$$ to make the necessary repairs/get parts, etc. Including more hiring and a more consistent training agenda. However, money isn't coming in fast enough to keep up with these demands. Not saying that incompetence isn't a factor but it probably could be improved with better training.
I think you're reaching there. That's very sad though that you think every black person got their job because of affirmative action though.
Did i say that "Every black person got their job because of affirmative action" ?
No, I did not.
