People will then say "why don't Conservatives create an alternative to Facebook if they want fairness?" Facebook is as well established as a company can be -- not even Google could create a popular rival to FB. Twitter is just as biased as FB. Reddit's news and politics sections are far more biased than Facebook, where they'll ban people for posting legitimate news stories the mods don't want people to read.
It's the most open market there is. The entrance barrier has never been lower. I thought it was some sort of conservative principle to let the invisible hand decide this sort of thing?
Complete grandstanding by the idiot big government conservatives. They have no authority to dictate what a private company chooses to allow on their website.
The poster probably meant Zuckerberg is/with like George Soros.
I am a little shocked FB is where people go for news........I go there for gossip and lies, and the things people actually post is disturbing. All the animal abuse pictures FB allows, but takes down all most anything negative towards certain people.
FB has a way of stalking people on certain sites.......so much for privacy!
With the amount of lies posted in most popular Facebook Conservative Meme pages, they should delete them. The truth is an important thing. Who remembers that one Photoshopped sign with the kid saying something about robbing someone.
The news you see on Facebook largely depends on who your friends are as well as what is trending. If you have mostly conservative friends you will see a lot of conservative news on it. If you have mostly liberal friends, I can see it being mostly liberal. That is the problem with social media. It's an echo chamber that gives us the impression that everyone agrees with us.
In terms of censoring trending topics, a lot of conservative news outlets like TheBlaze, Alex Jones, etc are extremely biased and a lot of times contain false information, half-truths, and hyperbole. I think Facebook should be allowed to censor those articles from trending topics on those grounds, and not necessarily because they are conservative.

Next you'll tell me that Conservapedia isn't reliable...

Your heart is in the right place, but it's not censorship. Facebook is a private company and they can put whatever they want on their infrastructure.
For crying out loud, the Bundy Ranch facebook page is still there - and hilarious.
1. The whole concept of what's "trending" is a faulty one. For example, more than once Trump has pointed out how much people are looking him up on the internet. Okay, but he is projecting that as only people positively impressed with him are looking him up on line or writing on social media about him. Many of us were and are looking up things about him because we think he's the biggest jerk in American history.
2. Hey, conservatives, you can't have it both ways. In thread after thread you basically say that corporations should be able to operate based on the decisions of their boards and the stockholders. Until you don't you don't like what they're doing.
