Zimmerman made sure that Trayvon wasn't around to tell his side of the story.
And we all know that juries get it right every time, that is why someday OJ Simpson and Casey Anthony will be vindicated when the real killers are found.
So the actual evidence is meaningless to you... OK.

You seem to be willing to ignore the fact that Zimmerman chased, confronted and started the fight with Trayvon. If an armed person chased you down would you not fear for your life and defend yourself?

There is ZERO evidence that Zimmerman "started the fight" ZERO.
And having the nerve to call the gun 'a piece of American history'!
Whether you like it or not it is a piece of American History. History is the good, the bad and the ugly. Museums around the country would very much be interested in this gun. He mentioned the Smithsonian wanted it and I wouldn't doubt that at all, they would probably lock it away in a vault for the next 100 years and then it might be displayed. Judge his actions, not the object.
