We are only as exceptional, as our government will let us be.

The more government gets involved... the less exceptional we become.
We were exceptional, because we did not have government controlling every aspect of the lives of people.
That is not true today. We have become like everyone else. Government control of everything. Socialism, like everyone else, since government took over the power from the people.
Obama is clueless as to the origin of the phrase, "American exceptionalism,' and what it means.

Of course-

Obama is a pig who never had to work hard for anything in his life. He was given special priveledge, scholarships, and advancement due to his race, not his effort or merit.

It is peculiar that Obama seeks to define the US as a "racist" nation when he has benefitted so much by his race, not his merit.

To those who actually work, study, save, plan, invest, create, and innovate in the US, America is "exceptional". To a socialist/communist who has been given EVERYTHING and taught to hate by Marxist influences, one would expect nothing else from Obama.

Obama is clearly the worst POTUS in US history, not only due to policy, but his repetitive derision of the nation that has given him so much. I wonder how he would have done in life if he had lived in his native Kenya?

Ah, bless the lil hearts.... High school drop outs have made up an era in America's history.... The Exceptional years.... Which corresponds to the era in which Europe was a dominate world power.

Then let me look at Obama's high school and college transcript to verify his merit.

Yeah but we're not talking about Trump now. Seriously, you have this opinion about Obama yet your idea of a replacement is The Donald?

Wow, that's something to be able to speak with sole authority about what America is and is not.
