America being the US, right? As far as that goes, there is no official language in the US @ the federal level. NM & CA & a handful of other states make voting material available in various languages - see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Langua...acto_bilingual - for details, counts of languages spoken in the US, etc.

English & Spanish are the two most spoken in the US, by a long shot. But in general, I don't see the point to having an official language. Canada is officially bilingual - but of course, there are many Native People languages spoken there - as well as in the US - plus a long list of other languages spoken (in both countries). One of the factors in the US - the local languages spoken vary enormously from city to rural, from state to state - I think it's better to address those situations @ the most local level possible. Which means, not @ the federal level.

Most of the spanish speaking folks in America are LOUD. Wonder if it's the nature of the language or the people who speak it? What is it like in Spain?

& once it was Sanskrit, Greek, Latin, Chinese, Arabic, Spanish, & now English for a while.

Quebec is no longer trying to separate from Canada as they get 10 billion dollars a year from the federal government every year in transfer payments and they also have free license to enact any legislation they want in the name of protecting their culture so they have made themselves a country within a country conveniently using the Canadian governments infrastructure, kinda like having your cake and eating it to.
They aint going anywhere.

This hillbilly couple went to the doctor because she was pregnant with their 10th child and her husband said to the doctor that he needed to sterilize him or her because statics say that 1 in 10 babies are born Hispanic and neither of them spoke Spanish!

Totally incorrect. Many countries where the Indian people are majority are very quiet and soft spoken. I would say the Spaniard people and its descendants are the loud ones. IMHO
