She has a special show on tonight with her interview of Trump the main attraction.
She is on the cover of publications and made herself news. She is no longer just an analyst or reporter. Was that the motivation for her attitude when she ask questions during the debate ? Book coming out too.

It reminds me of Howard Cossel and Muhammed Ali in some ways. They had a synergistic relationship.

Howard Cossel came to national prominence through his association with Muhammed Ali and boxing.

I was well aware of whom she was prior to the riff between her and Trump. As far as female conservative reporters - I'm pretty sure she was one of the more well known personalities.

Megan Kelly's job during the debate was to ask tough questions. Trump reacted like a child. That is the story.

More power to her.

Right why are people acting like she did something wrong? She asked a tough question and Trump acted like a big baby, threw a tantrum which led to attention. So if anything Trump's antics is what elevated her to celebrity status.

Was it her job to make herself news and be elevated to celebrity status or moderate a debate as a natural party ?

Pretty much what everyone else has said. Trump having a hissy fit is what led to so much attention over it.

She didn't make the news, Trumps reaction did. She was already well known for asking aggressive questions before that debate.

My recollection is fuzzy, but I am pretty sure that she didn't say that she was bleeding from wherever.

I'll be glad when shes off Fox News, though, and
does her Barbara Walters thing, lightweight that she is.

Her job was to ask tough questions not make statements. Plain and simple tough questions are good.
