Nuts. My oldest daughter is 30 and I never had any of those fears. I always knew she would be as successful as she is. I did that through hard work as a parent, the right schools and the right social groups. Now I see what a fantastic mother she is. She won't be a whiny coward like this one.
Because this isn't a real mother and her thoughts. It's satire, as the author is mocking women as paranoid and rape-obsessed.
The woman who wrote that rant is everything wrong with feminism and leftwing women. What a freaking nutcase. I pity her daughter. And if it's a put on, she's a total asswipe.

Actually, I am concerned about this. do you know how many women have been KILLED because they said no to a mans advances? I saw a news report the other day that a man shot into a woman's car, while her three year old daughter was in the car, because the woman turned him down. Guess what? That little girl got shot multiple times and is in critical condition.

It is a concern, no doubt about it. Every reasonable citizen has a duty to protect children.
However, this kind of attitude
"She lives in a world that is built for men. Rewards men. Glorifies men."
really does not help.
I don't know how it feels to raise a daughter because I am not a parent. However, I know how it feels to have three beautiful baby nephews and one adorable godson. I worry about false rape accusation in the future. (because it certainly happened to a lot of innocent men.)
I think balance is the key. Not every man is a monster. We taught my nephews and my godson to respect little girls, we told them "Don't touch the little girls even if they touch you first." All parents just want their children to grown up to be happy.
Many men's life have been ruined because of vindictive angry women who are jaded for some reasons. This is also true.
I don't like piling all the blame on one side or the other. We're humans. We're more than intelligent enough to both teach men (and women) how to respect both genders, as well as teach women (and men) how to do what they can to protect themselves from potential predators.
Too often people make it out to be some mutually exclusive thing. But if humans can figure out how to chat on Facebook while drinking coffee while cooking while talking on the phone all at the same time, we surely can figure out how to teach our children to be both good people towards others and how to take safety measures themselves.
Give our species a little more credit.
