I had the displeasure of enduring TWC service while living in NC briefly. Every single time I had a problem (a lot), I was connected to their customer service agents and tech support in India.

Guess we know where the savings of American jobs was passed along to.

Run the company into the ground they win, success they win. No one is worth that type of money unless they have a cape and can fly.

as Mel Brooks said, "it's good to be the king". and that applies to all executives, not just the CEO.

people ask for higher wages and MANY gasp in disgust, threatening loss of American jobs, which happens NO MATTER WHAT the outcome is.

How much money do you make per year?

Please tell us unless you are afraid. I'm guessing you probably make 15 to 20 times what the average person on the planet makes, and you probably aren't asking to make less.

Hey, if you don't like what they do, don't use them. It is THAT simple.

The workers at TWC may earn a pink slip after this merger.
"Because he did nothing to earn $92 million"

How do yo know?

Did you follow him around arm in arm everyday at work?

"at the expense of our democracy"

What a far fetched bunch of B.S.!

NOW I KNOW you are jealous of others success.

Maybe because you are a failure yourself.

What brand of computer software are you using?

Are you a hypocrite for coming on here all up in arms about how much big corps make and condemn anyone who disagrees with you, yet YOU support MANY of those same corps you want to whine about.

Good Post

It is our business if they got where they did by purchasing puppet politicians or even worse, becoming one to tailor regulations and laws to your companies benefit.

It takes a big government to serve crony capitalists.
You do not see the records amounts of money flowing to politicians from deep pocket corporations and banks decreasing do you?

This is what happens when the majority of delegates in both the DNC and RNC consist of corporate and banking lobbyists and these party hacks tell the people, it is not what you want but what we want

So no, the majority of Americans did not put these people there and especially not for bigger government

That would be the lobbyists that did

You have it backwards.
Government has grown because Big Corporations want it that way.
In the 70's and prior, I remember when government food aid consisted of USDA Cheese, USDA Canned Meat, USDA Beans, USDA Rice and so on.

What happened to all that?
Corporate Lobbyists wanted a cut of that action and that is why we have things like this:

Fast food giant lobbies for food stamps - WSMV Channel 4

Yum! Brands – the parent company of Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, KFC, Long John Silver's and A&W – is lobbying to have food stamps be accepted at their restaurants.

If we booted out the lobbyists, government would shrink by 1/2

Goodbye Obamacare brought to use by the Pharma and Insurance Lobbyists,
Goodbye Military Industrial Complex brought to use by lobbyists using tax payers dollars to purchase puppet politicians
Goodbye Obamaphone, created by the Telecom Industry Lobbyists
Goodbye China Trade brought to us by organized business like Walmart and so on

I am glad you agree we need to kick out the corporate and banking lobbyists

It has also fundamentally changed how corporations interact with government—rather than trying to keep government out of its business (as they did for a long time), companies are now increasingly bringing government in as a partner, looking to see what the country can do for them.
