To me, the most disturbing part of this, is the great number of people that continue to believe in this debunked, end-of-time, apocalyptic secular cult. There are a great number of people like Al Gore and Obama, that use it as a tool to increase their political power, and push their leftist ideology.
I think coastal communities that are wiped out by Hurricanes or similar events should only be able to collect National Flood Insurance ONCE. That way we do not have to pay for the foolishness of rebuilding when you know the place can be destroyed.

It depends on the definition of a hurricane, Irene and Sandy didn't meet the threshold but I would say around 80 Billion in damages is significant. Also Mexico had a Cat 5 and others, why so selective and limiting to the US, what about the Pacific,
