US Special Operations Forces Seen in Syria Photos Ordered to Remove Kurdish Patches - ABC News

Unsure if it was Obama trying to blend them in or just their idea?

What's your guys opinion? Do you think wearing a U.S. Military uniform makes them a bigger target? What happened to no boots on the ground ?

Turkey has complained. That is why.

Honestly, just bring them all home already. They are not going to fight to win. These special force guys are somebody else's sons too. Why are they there?

Obama slipped them in while the peasants argued about trans-gender bathrooms.

We do as ordered politics aside.

That was our motto from 92-98... An 02-04.

Doesn't mean we didn't question. We signed contracts.

I, for one, do not consider Turkey an "Ally" of the United States. They gave us fits over using their air space, they basically used the refugee crisis as a bargaining chip to hold Europe hostage to their demands (visa-free travel to EU), and their president has moved to nullify the Parliament's powers in a move towards checking democratic power.

We need to be more prudent in who we consider "allies". Yes, I realize the world runs on Realpolitik, not principal, but we should always know the difference between "Friends" and "Interests".

The United States has no allies or friends, and we don't need any.

Are your friends really your friends, if you have to buy them?

I think the one who sent them there needs a patch to show how "special" he is.
