If one actually reads the original news piece it's sounds like three completely unrelated incidents that were the result of punk kids, a bad driver, and historical site looters. Somehow with Memorial Day tommorow a journalist needed something to print and connected the dots between three incidents with no connection.
Sigh. How sad are folks that they immediately make this something political.
As the OP said protesting is one thing, we're not talking about some political protest. We're talking about criminals, and those are on both sides.
And if you go to the linked article, and go to the source articles you find out...its graffiti. IE punk kids.
This isn't political, and those trying to make it so, are showing a incredible bias that reflects a lack of connection to reality.
Finally one voice of reason from someone who actually took the time to read the reports on the damage and put some thought into the likely person's responsible being so far from the political spectrum so as to be barely noticeable for any other achievement at all in their worthless lives.
People have a propensity to place any event as being caused by one of two categories. Boy, if the world were only that simple all you'd have to do is create a third party showing some common sense and all the ills of the world would be gone in a flash.
Give me a break. It's hardly a great leap to assume it was some progressive liberal who did it, it certainly wouldn't be the first time for them. You think a conservative is likely to vandalize a veterans memorial? Only in some twisted liberal view of the world. When you hear hoof beats you think unicorns, not horse too I'm sure.
