Thomas Sowell is an Oreo Cookie (Black on the outside, white on the inside).
Socialism is when we work together as a group or a team to agree on what our problems are and then decide to solve them and finally to do the work sometimes very hard work to solve then. If Thomas Sowell doesn't understand this he is one of the "Uniformed" .
what is good for the top should be good for the bottom as well. They got their losses made good so the bottom should as well.
They did. Read my post on the $27 Trillion millions of American workers and retirees have invested in their retirement accounts and pensions. THAT'S the main reason for both ZIRP and the QEs.
Collapsing that $27 Trillion worth of retirement investments would have had a devastating effect on tens if not a hundred or more millions of Americans.
This is a pretty disgusting argument. What it does is defend the government's creation of inflation to help Wall Street while arguing that those who fall behind should just shut up and accept it.
The creation of inflation is a huge socialist program.
I say they should start breaking things.
Would it bother you if they started with YOUR things?

Ask anyone who has ever escaped from Cuba if that is what Socialism is.
Why should the tens if not a hundred (or more) millions of American workers and retirees who had NO say in ZIRP (Zero Interest Rate Policy) lose their retirement accounts and pensions?
Artificially forced ZIRP isn't capitalism.
ZIRP is the financial equivalent of giving a blood transfusion to a dead man. It doesn't get the desired results and is a waste of perfectly good blood.
Crony capitalism, welfare for the top and the banks.
Nope. The tens if not a hundred or more millions of American workers and retirees with $27 Trillion invested in their retirement accounts and pensions benefited FAR more than did the top and the banks.
Would it bother you if they started with YOUR things?
I addressed this when it was first asked.
