Sounds like a violation of freedom of speech I wonder if this will hold up.There have been boycotts in the past like South Africa, this seems like new ground.
Cuomo couldn't pass ethics reform even with the house and senate leaders heading to jail but he can certainly pander to the pro-Israeli lobby with this nonsense.

Ridiculous. Using state power to squelch freedom of association. State contracts should be about one thing and one thing only; value added at the best price.
Good to see Cuomo actually get something right. There is no reason for the state to do business with racist, bigoted groups.
Hilarious to see more outrage over this than when he banned state business with another American state just because they won't let men use women's bathrooms.

How is boycotting a foreign nation racist, that is a company's right.
Do you recall the South African Boycotts, the protest by BDS is relative to Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands and human rights violations.

The protest is anti-Semitism, period. Israel has not just a right, but a responsibility, to protect its citizens from Palestinian animals slaughtering Israeli people and launching missiles into their cities. No reason for NYS, or any other American, to do business with these bigots.
