Where are her parents? They need to be sent back yesterday.

Austin is a city council legislated Sanctuary City, with a mirror intellect of San Francisco.

She was not the only undocumented valedictorian.

"Meanwhile, a valedictorian in North Texas got a standing ovation last week when she revealed her undocumented status during her graduation speech from Boyd High School in McKinney. Larissa Martinez, who had a 4.95 GPA, told WFAA that she has a scholarship to Yale University."

My daughter was a valedictorian with 5.16 GPA, near perfect ACT/SAT, and many extracurricular and volunteer activities. But she was rejected by the ivy league colleges. Too bad my daughter was not an undocumented, I guess.

The girl did nothing wrong except come here and make the best of her opportunity. It's not her fault that she lives in a sanctuary state or that her parents brought her here illegally. You're mad at the wrong person.

Just give her the props she deserves and stop whining about it. She learned English and became a high achiever. I thought that's what what everyone wanted?

Misty had the highest GPA and Test scores, but she is white in a majority Hispanic school.

OK. So what does "Misty" have to say about it? I mean, I can only comment on what I know.

The valedictorian/salutatorian thing sounds like a local beef. They're both smart...obviously. And I don't know how these things are decided in Texas. I can't elaborate on that.

If you know something that I should know, then tell me.

Are we sure she is telling the truth about her status? She also claims to have "nice legs". Maybe its all meant tongue in cheek.
