Let's see, Sharia Law or what they have going in Minneapolis or San Francisco? It's a toss up for me.

Maybe the locals might think Sharia would be an improvement over the local corruption Texas is reputed to favor?

I think this is what the OP is talking about: Muslims FURIOUS at This Texas Mayor After She STOPPED Their ‘Sharia Court’ – See Her EPIC Response | Top Right News

Also, on the subject: Muslims Demand Mayor Apologize For Texas Town’s ‘Islamophobic’ New Law…But She’s Not Backing Down

They want to bring their foreign laws here. Ah, "NO". This is as bad as planting their flag. We are not going to colonized.

A city in MI that implemented the law a few years ago: http://nationalreport.net/city-michi...nt-sharia-law/ Keeping in mind that their religious law is also what they want of the governoring law.

Muslims are ANGRY at Texas Mayor After She Stops "Sharia Court"... Here Is Her EPIC Response! - The Political Insider

Is this the link?

I have to thank Obama for this. Thanks for letting them invade our country without any vetting process. Although, they might not be related to the refugees that weren't vetted properly to be here, just like the illegals, there are here and soon to be colonizing.

Mayor Van Duyne did the absolute right thing for Texas.

why is this even a thing?

there is no other law that rules any place in the US but US law and our constitution. they can have their mock tribal sessions all day long. it won't ever be upheld in a US court of law.

Good for her. Dearborn set a terrible precedent and another town in MI is torn apart because of such demands, as well.

I'm all for Muslim American's being able to practice their faith, up to the line where they're no longer interested in following American laws, or are disruptive to non-Muslims.

Can't cross that line, in my mind.

It is no different than the Jewish courts that are all over the US. They can not violate any US laws, and can only be used if both parties agree. It's basically like a mediator for civil issues.
