Most of the theft from the boys in blue occurs at crime scenes, fires, and car accidents where victims are either dead or too impaired from the incident to know what's going on.

Traffic stops are a little more tricky so they need schemes like this to get their cut. I commend their entrepreneurship.

OK sued Colorado in federal court a couple of years ago when they legalized cannabis and lost. Now their suing again. And now they come up with this BS.

Just one more reason not to visit OK.

Thank you, conservatives.
It's a bipartisan issue.
While I agree with the sentiments expressed in your first paragraph, I find the left is rather fond of the IRS , which engages in similiar methods of thievery ( and worse).

It's close enough to Texas to be considered the deep south to me. I don't like rightwing, overtly religious, Republican led states. These are the places that come closest to fascism in America, and I'd say Oklahoma is at, or near, the top of the list.

Sorry but the two topics are not remotely related. I think taxes are a reasonable price we pay for a civilized country. I do NOT think this sort of random highway robbery is, its inefficient, and random.

What kind of argument is that??? Besides, money is the owner's property, and I believe we have an amendment that sorta frowns upon these types of searches and seizures. What's their excuse for that..."the amendment is actually referring to epilepsy"?

In all honesty, it makes me too mad to really get into it. I have read the arguments used to justify it. Its not justifiable by anyone reasonable. While I have never been a victim of it, I view it as insanely corruptive, and unamerican.
