Sorry, I am a bit tired. Let me try to clarify. It appears that the defaults being provided for you on your phone are being provided from the phones own internal dictionary -not google.

I have done this test on my desktop on google.

Nothing partisan about that in your mind?

On my computer too when I search "crooked Hilla.." the auto complete is "crooked Hillary Bernie".
There is no auto-complete even when I search "crooked Hillary Clinto..."

I was using google yesterday to search for this video and could not find it anywhere-even though I remembered most of the words in the title. On Bing/Yahoo I found it instantly as one of the top search results. I need to stop using google as my default search engine....ahh so hard though.

a search for a popular tv show that doesn't have a name in it? Thats your response? A search for tv shows? I wonder why you didn't try the Manson one. The one being discussed.....ohhh because it demonstrates my point?

This kind of deceptive arguing on your side is not particularly persuasive you know?

Quite a stretch there sparky. I didn't search for a popular tv show, are you incapable of seeing the entire image? I put in "crim" which was as far as I got. I was going to type in "criminal" since you claimed that Google had some filter on allowing the word "criminal" to autocomplete.

I don't need your insipid Manson example, I went straight to "criminal" the word that you stated Google would not allow to be autocompleted and proved you wrong.

No, you purposely avoided a example involving a person. The example discussed, and not because its "insipid", but because you were looking for a way to avoid the actual facts. Googles algorithm is designed to work this way, and it has nothing to do with politics. This is the right wing yelling the sky is falling-when as usual IT ISN'T. And this is bad, its bad for everyone. Because it gets people used to all of this nonsense being lies. It means that it will be easier for REAL activity like this to occur in the future.

I doubt anyone is searching for Charles Manson criminal. I even doubt that Charles Manson murderer is high on the search list.

Try something a bit more current.
