You seriously can't see the difference between every single person and people who had coworkers contact the FBI about?

Wow!!! It just boggles my mind that you can even type such garbage.
The only way I can see to prevent these kinds of things is to follow every single person who is suspected. And even that wouldn't work.

Yes, the ball was dropped when it came to the Boston bombers. Law enforcement is like that.

And since you brought the subject of garbage up, I'll point out that the idea that our federal and local law enforcement agencies don't care about preventing mass killings is a pretty good example of garbage.

It's going to happen.
That's the most most honest thing you have said, whether you know it or not....congrats....

Maybe if you would lean more towards this response and not criticizing others, you very well could make some headway......in your agenda....

He was investigated, he was never convicted of any crime, he was never charged with any crime. His background was basically spotless. I'm sure they have a myriad of people that they suspect of something that never actually amounts to anything. They certainly don't possess the resources to keep track of every single individual that might someday potentially be a threat.

Are you saying that you are in favor of people being deprived their rights simply on the basis of being under suspicion of something, because there's quite a slippery slope that comes with that.

That the same people you charge with being too incompetent to prevent this attack should be responsible for determining who is and who isn't a risk, as that would obviously never be prone to any sort of corruption. You don't have to look any further than the No-Fly-List and the thousands who are accidentally on it as an example of how the system can be mucked up.

Who is saying that they represent Islam? They certainly represent a radical branch of Islam that espouses a hateful ideology, a situation that should be addressed, particularly when it comes to our Saudi "allies" who spend billions every year to export this particularly militant ideology all over the globe.

Deflecting incidents such as this by saying "well other people do it too" doesn't change the issue at hand, that eventually, this radical ideology, its financiers and its followers need to be addressed and real solutions need to be found, rather than have the whole thing swept under the rug.

The crusades are the same as what we have done in the last 15 years? What crusades are you talking about?

You have lost all and any credibility, that remark has to be....

I'm guessing some people believe that many of the cities the Christians conquered during the crusades weren't first conquered by Muslims. They probably also don't realize that trade routes played an important role in the Crusades.

Let's just forget how Muslim armies moved west conquering along the way.

Equality Florida, the state's lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organization is collecting contributions via this GoFundMe page to support the victims of the horrific shooting at Orlando's Pulse Nightclub.

Equality Florida statement on mass shooting at Orlando gay club:

We are reeling from the tragic news that a gunman opened fire on the 2am capacity crowd at Pulse leaving 50 people dead and over 50 injured according to Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer.

We are heartbroken and angry that senseless violence has once again destroyed lives in our state and in our country.

Gay clubs hold a significant place in LGBTQ history. They were often the only safe gathering place and this horrific act strikes directly at our sense of safety. June commemorates our community standing up to anti-LGBTQ violence at the Stonewall Inn, the nightclub that has become the first LGBTQ site recognized as a national monument.

We have received a steady stream of emails and messages from those seeking to help or to make sense of the senseless. We make no assumptions on motive. We will await the details in tears of sadness and anger. We stand in solidarity and keep our thoughts on all whose lives have been lost or altered forever in this tragedy.
Exactly. People go to such clubs by choice. They're not infringing on anyone's rights or privacy.
