But of course that is not going to happen.
The knee jerk reaction by the liberal PC Democratic gun grabbers will be an outright ban on those "icky black assault guns" .

I don't know if this shooting will help Trump at the polls but it should serve as an eye opener to all of us that radical islam is a scourge on the world.
A gun is a highly efficient way to kill people but this terrorist could have made some bombs. He also could have bought a truck, loaded that with gasoline then crashed it into the night club as it was closing and people were coming out.
The results would have been the same or worse.

Trump is brave enough to talk about this threat. Will Hillary even call it what it is?
I'm waiting to hear Trump say that homophobia caused by religious intolerance targeted these innocent Americans.

You are partially right, I was thinking of the Tuscon shooter..not Roof, And as for McVeigh, How many children were killed in the Oklahoma city bombing? Did he think they were government employees?

Every time something like this comes down in the US; that'll push more and more people to vote for Trump over Hillary even tho he's a bit of a jerk.
They are always "sick" about what their murderous offspring do, but they raise them Muslim anyway and that is the problem. Unless Clinton calls for a halt to bringing in more Muslims who will breed more terrorists, then they should vote for Trump. It is the religion that is the problem.

He targeted a government building because he was mad at the U.S. government. What part of that very simple statement do you continue to find difficult to understand? In his mind, the building represented the government. The government was his target, and that's what he hit.

Err... the suspect was born in New York!!

The lesson should be: We should be more cautious about who we're allowing to purchase guns!!

Born in US means nothing. It's how he was raised. Trump is correct.

Nope. That's not a discussion we are allowed to have.

Actually, the lesson should be: We should be more cautious about first and second generation Muslims in this country because they are easily radicalized, even if they are born in New York!!

This is correct. Trump's point was not that we can eliminate all future attacks committed by Muslims by virtue of his proposed ban. His point was that, in light of the problem with radical Islam, perhaps we should limit our exposure to new Muslim immigrants until there is a better handle on the problem or situation.

He said nothing about Muslims born here or those living here legally (and shouldn't have, since they're already here legally).

How this makes him Hitler is lost on me.
