The fact that there are guns in America that are locked in a safe is the direct fault of IRRESPONSIBLE gun owners. We need to stop excusing them for their irresponsible behavior, especially since that directly fuels the black market for guns.

I guarantee if gun owners had to pay for their irresponsibility, we'd see a sharp drop in "stolen" and stolen guns. We'd see a sharp drop in the availability of guns on the black market. We'd see a sharper drop in gun crime as it becomes harder & more expensive to get them.
Proving one has a secure safe to lock their guns in and doing it is the law in Israel.

The gun owner must retake his license exam and testing at the gun range every three years. As of January, Amit said, a new law will go into effect requiring gun owners to prove that they have a safe at home to keep their weapon in.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Just spouting spoonfed nonsense.

Are assault rifles illegal in Paris?

What did the terrorists use in Paris?

Ignoring these facts don't make them go away.

My fantastic scenario was to illustrate the fact there isn't a single thing I can do to satisfy the likes of you. When I have a gun contained in what is basically a bunker and you are going to hold me responsible when I'm the victim of a crime what else is there to say.

I wonder how often their guns get "stolen" in home robberies.

Do you think then that Israel will say, "Our gun laws are not working, lets just get rid of them."

Why are certain posters here bringing up box cutters as a counter argument to regulation of guns?

Once again, just last week Israelis were murdered in Israel by people with machine guns.

Why didn't these Israeli gun restrictions work last week?

If laws prevented crime, we wouldn't have any murders because murder laws would have prevented them.

We wouldn't have to keep repeating this if you would listen to logic and reason.
Do ya think there might be more murders, robberies, theft, etc.....if we had no laws?
