I'm curious, and haven't been able to find any statistics. Who knows how many of the "mass shootings" in this country have been committed by NRA members? There are some 6 million members of the NRA in this country, enough to have statistically significant data. I personally can't recall a single mass shooting where the criminal has been a member-but with that many members I have to expect that there are some.

BTW....there are nearly twice as many NRA members in the US as there are Muslims. If NRA members committed mass shootings at anywhere near the rate of Muslims, I think it's a pretty safe bet you'd hear about it.

They don't do the shootings.... they just stand up for the people who actually do the shootings.

Oh really? Have you heard Wayne LaPierre touting the acts of this Islamic nutjob in Orlando? Unlike, say, our pathetic President that looks to excuse him because he's a Muslim?

Zero - the buck stops with us. The NRA and the American gun owner. We are the last vestige of defense - and we are the most formidible force on the planet.

Do not test us. We are 100,000,000 strong.

And our patience is wearing thin.

Yep. And their leader, Wayne LaPierre, makes sure we can never have a conversation about it. We must simply live with a mass shooting every few weeks because, oh, well, nothing we can do about it.

Can't even keep the terrorists on the watch list gun free. Terrorists have rights, you know. If they want to buy a few semi automatics and shoot up a bar, well, what could WE have done to stop them? Shall not be infringed, you know.

Well the NRA's job is to make guns more accessible and stand up for the 2nd amendment or whatever nonsense. What did you folks think would happen? You certainly don't hear the NRA coming out saying we need to do a better job with regulations to prevent this.

I agree, the OP should have came up with a better argument.

Terrorists shouldn't be on "watch lists", they should be in prisons (or dead). If they can kill with a firearm, they can do so with a motor vehicle, with a knife, a baseball bat or a gallon of gas and matches. Or with fertilizer and diesel. Those on these lists should be locked up until they can be vetted, don't you think? I mean, as long as we don't care about violating someone's civil rights without due process, let's do it in a way that is effective.
