Guy was not even charged with a crime.

He was questioned because of remarks made to coworkers and because he may have been in the proximity of an extremist. Obviously, FBI did not find anything concrete.

Absent a history of violence there is no reasonable way to predict future violence.

He was not employed by DHS.

His employer did two prior background checks and turned up nothing.

He was questioned by the FBI, not charged with a crime.

I don't know the details of his remarks to coworkers. Do you?

Pulse nightclub massacre: questions over how suspect on FBI's radar could buy guns

I believe the government.... especially the radical Islamist sympathizers~ Obama and Clinton have a hand in this because of their agenda to take the guns from Americans!

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if the shooter was a government agent!

If some of those club goers had guns they could have blown the scumbag away! How the hell does a person armed with an assault rifle and lbs. of ammo even enter a club?
He shot his way into the club.

For all anyone knows, some in the club were armed.

Many ignore gun free zone laws and some of them post on this forum.

The man who killed at least 50 people and wounded 53 others at an Orlando club early Sunday was armed with an AR-15-type rifle. It’s the same style of weapon used to slaughter 20 children and six adults in Newtown, Conn., in 2012. There were calls to ban the weapon after the Newtown shootings, which led to a spike in sales.

Gun manufacturers have called the AR-15 one of the most popular weapons in the U.S., with more than 3 million estimated to be in circulation.

“It was designed for the United States military to do to enemies of war exactly what it did this morning: kill mass numbers of people with maximum efficiency and ease,”

Sorry, but an AR15 isn't an assault rifle.

YES, that is a piece of gun reform that was voted down by the republicans. No doubt the NRA rewarded them handsomely.
Florida state governors and legislate have been majority Republican for a long, long time. Gun laws are set by the state.

Is it possible not all Republicans are keen about c/ c or open carry, especially in bars?

So the only option here is to deal with the real problem. I know that is hard for liberals to accept.
Tell that to the Florida state legislate.

They determine the state laws.

So, are you claiming Florida can have a law allowing people to be indefinitely incarcerated without charge or trial?

Forget it--they are a bunch of idiots. They think everyone should have the god-given right to text while driving and refuse to make the left lane for passing. They love the insurance industry and guns, though.
