Oh, so their motivation was to avoid a huge backlash? How do you know this?
I honestly don't know. How would I?
CFA says the employees decided to do it. I assume they had to ask permission but don't know how high up it had to go.
At that point CFA had to do it because you have to realize the employees are going to do a social media response either way (which they did).
How enthusiastic brass was in giving the ok is something nobody knows. I honestly have the feeling they were cool with it and the subsequent tributes at whatever level it reached within the organization. The lowering of flags at half staff at their restaurants definitely was green lighted from the top.
Just saying CFA employees are fast food employees which are generally younger folks who are much more pro-LGTB. Pics on Twitter verify.
I'm not bashing CFA here. Just looking at the business aspect.
I'm not surprised. They did the same a couple of winters ago. Even though their stores were closing early due to a winter storm, the workers remained behind to cook and deliver meals to people stranded on the highway.

No, CFA did not "have" to do it. Seriously, what is with you guys? You simply will not, cannot, adamantly refuse to give credit where it's due.
The fact is: CFA opened up on a day that they aren't typically open.
The fact is: The employees cooked away to provide food (FREE!) for all the people donating blood.
The fact is: CFA did NOT "have" to do this.
I personally don't like gays either. I'm not religious at all, but I believe that the acceptance of such practices adds to the current massive relationship instability, high divorce rate, and declining values in this country.
With that said, I feel bad for the victims of this massacre. They did not deserve this, despite the fact that their lifestyle choices are deplorable.

Just stop.
Look, it's simple.
CFA says that the employes iniatiated it. However high up it went for approval is unknown. CFA in my opinion probably was cool with it but at the same time it would have got out if they had said no and that would have been a huge deal for the ultra liberal elitist media.
See how I'm not bashing CFA?
It could have been a local mom & pop joint that's closed on Sundays in this situation and they would have had to do it too. The media would bankrupt mom & pop and spit on their graves otherwise.
